Making the Vocational Education Act more Reflective and Effective Towards its Mission for Families
Executive Summary
The growing number of populations coming out of school without the capacity to work for current opening positions in the work industry greatly impact how a community or a particular nation performs economically. The response created through the implementation of the Vocational Educational Act of both 1917 and its revisions posted on 1964 remained specifically a course of supposed resolution to the matter. However, it could be realized how it did not completely manage to eliminate the problem which has become one of the most important issues that is still being given particular attention to at present.
In the discussion presented herein, this particular act shall be given specific attention to especially with regards the process by which it has been founded upon and the manners by which it has been implemented to solve the impending problem being given particular response to. A consideration over the results of the act as it has been implemented to reestablish the situation from which the economy could be based upon and the future could be actually specifically grounded upon.
Context and Importance of the Problem
The knowledge and skills that the act imposes to provided the students specifically intend to make the learners more competent especially when it comes to making a great impact on how the students become specifically prepared for the real world outside the four walls of their classrooms. The capacity of the students to apply what they have learned in class is a specific course that the vocational education act hopes to make upon its benefactors specifically want to create has been expected to make a great difference on the results of the American educational system.
The act was supposed to act as cushion that the students would always be able to bounce upon once they have graduated and found out that no opened work positions are available for them yet. The indicative ways by which the program hopes to make a difference did specifically create a good picture on how the students become more competent on handling the possible difficulties that they are usually involved in after graduating from school. There are instances though when the programs, although as supposedly effective as they are, becomes less effective especially when it comes to the probability by which the students become specifically efficient in putting the lessons into good use.
Critique of Policy Options
The need to protect the rights of the graduates to get a good chance to have a job that could support them in life is a specific course that the act wants to improve, however, the success of this process largely depends on the capacity of the students to become more contemplatively definite in knowing what particular elective they would want to take and how they want to apply such particulars of the educational system. What makes the situation rather hard to deal with is the fact that there is a slow motivation on the part of the students especially when it comes to their actual realization of the worth of the subject that they have chosen to master. Hence, the real problem rests on the increasing need of helping the proctors find a more relative way on how to specifically create a sense of motivation on the students more than just teaching the technical matters of the practice or of the skill that they are trying to learn.
Student motivation levels could be considered to have a great impact on how the learners become involved in applying the lessons that they have learned in class as presented in the graph herein:
Observe from this graph that the lowest rate presented specifically directed towards the students who are marginally prepared ones who are ready to take the challenge of the real world to actually get a job that fits their capacities and their skills. It could be noted to how the highest rate reflects the number of students who are unprepared to face the real challenges of handing a real job.
Policy Recommendations
At this point, it could be noted how the effectiveness of the Vocational Act and the programs that are able to define its worth is judged by the responsible consideration of students towards their own capacity to make use of the lessons that they have learned and apply them in actual works. The responsible definition of the students’ willingness to accept and apply the lessons in an actual job that they can work on would account for at least the defining 78% of the programs effective applicability, Without it, the efforts of the government to equip the people with the right skills would simply be put to waste.
The implementation of the principles of the Vocational Education Act is specified to give a great impact on how the society survives the economic issues that the world faces at present. To make it more relatively effective, it is essential that the instructors or the proctors be provided with the right training hence gaining proper assistance on how to motivate the students to not simply complete the curriculums they are presented with, but to make an assumptive condition by which they are to be motivated properly to see the worth of their lessons in their latter lives as they face real world of jobs and work opportunities.
Giving the students the right confidence and self-worth that would help them find the most convenient way of applying the lessons they have learned from class is expected to make a considerable difference on how the Vocational Act’s worth is being specifically realized at present. These changes ought to be implemented well and should be given specific attention to in the hope of making a great impact on how the nation faces the challenge of dealing with the issues of unemployment as the population in the country continuously grows.
Conclusions
Every government program deserves to have a supporting course of development that involves a boosting aspect that would empower the program’s strength in making the necessary changes needed in the society, It could be analyzed in consideration with the discussion presented herein that the motivation of the students play a great role in making the Vocational Education Act possibly effective in completing the mission that it hopes to be represented with. In a way, the government would be able to get the best out of its efforts if the students respond to the matter in a relatively positive approach as well.
