The term political culture origins started with the early years of politics in the United States to promote the American political system. However, over the years the improvements in technology and the speed of news that now covers every minute of the day has brought into view the varying political cultures of the world. The reason nations have varying political cultures is based on the type of government that exist in that nation. The Canadian political culture is based on a mixture of European and North American political culture.  The Canadian political system which is based on freedom of speech, freedom of religion and constitutional laws. They have political ideas that are derived from British law and French laws that is foundation is a form of liberalism. The Canadian political culture is different because they have many different provinces that have different political cultures within the over political culture. This simple means Canadians have layers of political cultures which are different from the United States political culture because Canadians rely on the government to government intervention to resolve issues through public ownership rather than using the private sector.  The Canadians have yet another layer of political cultures that includes the Canadian people that speak the original French that do not accept any political views that resemble the United States political culture models. These diverse Canadian beliefs have yet another sub system or layers of political cultures based on different Canadian regions cultural belief, different educational systems, and different languages that all have different political agendas. The best example is the Quebec citizens have a totally different political culture that fly the Canadian flag which is different from the Quebec citizens that speak English. However, the Western region of Canada has totally different political beliefs of Quebec cities and they are considered two different political cultures of Canadian.
