Pages: 1

Words: 295

Essay

The battle of Democrats and Republicans lines have become so blurred that US politics that the political process has become diluted. In addition, democrats and republicans have started to vote based on their status and culture within their own neighborhoods. The banker who lives in Boston that is considered upper class may not vote for a Republican candidate because the Democrat candidate has more republican like views on how they would run the country. The Boston banker friends all have a problem with the way Republicans have handled issues that affect the upper-class therefore, they collaboratively vote for the democratic candidate. This phenomenon has become the norm for US politics because the parties have some many different views such as Democratic extremist, Democratic leftist, Democratic rightist, Democratic liberal and Democrats with Republican views or Republicans with Democratic views.  This political confusion makes the United States political culture interesting to the rest of the world. There are millions of Americans citizens that have different voter reasons which our political consultants argue in the media and willing to destroy the reputation of any candidate in the name of dirty and acceptable politics. The political culture has become more about who has the most money to spend on television coverage, radio coverage and social networking outlets.

The world looks upon the United States as a divided country that fluctuates between liberalism, conservativism, extremists, leftist, and the right wing to name just a few political parties. The candidates and political expert consultants fight on national television adding to the division of candidates and American citizens which the rest of world finds amusing, fascinating and entertaining. It’s no doubt that American will always be a polarizing figure in politics because we have one the most publicized political systems in the world.
