A Practical Approach for Health Care Management, GCSE Coursework Example

Pages: 1

Words: 364

GCSE Coursework

Strategic planning requires a knowledge-based effort that recognizes the need for change and the ability to promote change through specific activities that support a viable approach to goal development and problem-solving to promote solutions (Hebda & Czar, 2013). In this context, it is necessary to establish a framework in which there is widespread support for the endeavor and in advancing an agenda that will positively support the long-term objectives of the organization (Hebda & Czar, 2013). Healthcare organizations require a high level understanding and acceptance of the different areas where growth is likely to be impacted by decision-making and knowledge (Gattahadalli, 2013).

Within an organization, it is necessary to establish an environment in which there are significant opportunities for growth and planning that will support its long-term viability (Hans et.al, 2012). It is believed that these efforts will support a strategy that encompasses the long-term needs of the organization and its ability to use technology effectively to move systems and patient care quality forward (Hans et.al, 2012). Specific resources are required to ensure that the organization is prepared to embark on a strategic planning endeavor, and this requires a high level of expert knowledge and control over the circumstances (Hans et.al, 2012). There is a significant benefit to developing a strategic plan with a high level of control and a practical approach, using the existing framework as a guide and expert knowledge and leadership at the helm (Wager et.al, 2013). These factors will encourage the organization to be proactive in its efforts to understand the dynamics of the organization and to be effective in analyzing its strengths and weaknesses in order to achieve the desired results with the chosen information technology system.
