Article Review

There are particular issues in air flight that cannot be fully controlled through the use of technology and insistent human training. Issues such as bird strikes are unprecedented situations that cannot be fully mandated through implicative human or technological interventions. Observation of the natural schedule of flight is also almost impossible to calculate. Hence, in the study completed by SylwiaKaszynska-adamczyk entitled Airport Operator and Aircraft Operator in Case of Bird Strike, Relations, Obligations and Liability provides a distinct data on how bird strikes actually affect the overall aircraft travel and how it even causes anger to the lives of the passengers of the aircraft at the same time. In this study, the author tries to point out that when it comes to the occurrence of bird strikes, while it is not possible to prevent the emergence of such situations, it is still strongly suggested that operators take charge of the situation.  Apparently, even though the said occurrence is inevitable, the distinction of such matter in being fully observed and managed by the operators of aircrafts is a necessary step to improve the level of protection provided to aircraft passengers as well as to the aircraft’s system itself.

Court negotiations often occur when the emergence of bird strikes occur which usually affects the condition of the passengers and how their safety is protected in relation to how their operators handle the situation accordingly. Was this approach effective? The study being reviewed herein insist on the fact that while the airline administrators do have the capacity to watch out for the vast population of birds in flight in relation to the schedule of flight that their aircrafts take into account, there are particular bird behaviors that cannot be fully directed due to its natural basis. In relation to the research’s discovery and discussion, the creation of the ICAO Bird Strike Monitoras the primary reporting system that insists on the presentation of the different bird-behavior on air based on warmth sensor, intended to lessen the emergence of such instances. Nevertheless, the alertness and attention of the operators on the emergence of such situations could only be instantiated as somewhat effective when the operators have already been trained through years of experience.

The research further points out that when it comes to measuring liabilities in case dangers do occur in relation to bird strikes on aircrafts, the operators are always first in line to be accounted as responsible for the emergence of the situation. The unification of legal sanctions and policies relating to the matter does lessen the burden of the situation on the role of the operators in the case. Nevertheless, the law does not completely get the operators off the hook.

Focusing on imposing the highest form of safety of travel for the passengers, aircraft operators are given both the power and responsibility to make sure that the passengers remain at a safe base before, during and even after air travel. The emergence of air strikes while aircrafts are on flight may not be easily prevented. The capacity of the airline operators to become more specific in the way they handle the cases and become more effective in determining the concept of safety that ought to be fully accounted for.

Based from this research, learning through time and making a distinct impact on how these lessons are applied in actual situation ns could lessen the dangers brought about by bird strikes when air flights are occurring. It could be realized that with full analysis of the situation and how such consideration of cases be assumed fully by aircraft operators, the emergence of dangers due to bird strikes could be managed accordingly. Based from the research reviewed herein, bird strikes may be uncontrollable, but through times of research and observation, understanding bird and environmental behavior could help airline operators to become more aware on how to deal with the said problem, thus lessening risks in the life of the passengers.
