Bill of Rights for the Indians: Deemed to Give Better Reputation to American Society and Government

The American politics at present has specifically been noted in the article to have lesser regard for the people who have been the source of the very society’s development. Although Indians were considered to be among the first ancestors of the American society, the new generation tends to set aside the fact that they are in need of respecting such members of the community. Instead of getting high regard, Indians in America are discriminated and are set aside especially when it comes to the definition of their rights as the residents of the country.

Notably, it could be analyzed that the recreation of the standards of the Bill of Rights dedicated to providing the Indians with proper condition and vision of their rights as residents of America has become a serious concern for leaders of the Indian community in the said country. Mr. Collier, the pursuant of the campaign towards such change in the Bill of rights, tried to get the attention of the community as well as their agreeable acceptance of the matter through visiting them in their small communities within the cities and providing them the promise of change.

However, instead of being able to establish the strength of the Indian community, the said campaign did less to manifest the impact of ancestry on the reputation of Indians in America. Instead, the Indian men and women were later on deduced to begging in front of the white man’s door. What does this situation impose on the situation that the American society deals with at present? Relatively, discrimination remains strong, even towards the supposed ancestors of the country. Modernity seemed to have affected how the people respected the past and how they allow such matter affect their lives at present. Observably, it could be analyzed that with this fact, the primary sickness of the American society remains related to imbalance in the process of defining the course by which people of different skin colors are being treated in the country.
