Case study 1.

The first case study is of a 26-year-old female with high blood pressure. The cause of the condition may be natural or even led by current living habits like the diet that people take. Some of the symptoms experienced are like some slight headaches, nose bleeding, and also having a short breath. The evidence-based practice in taking care of blood pressure is by visiting the doctor regularly at all times for checkups especially if at any time pregnant (Kosif et al., 2017). For the application of technology, it would be important to have a high blood pressure monitor to get the readings and continue taking the right medication.

Case study 2.

The case is about an adult who is aged 40 years and has high cholesterol. The patient is at a high risk of heart failure. Cholesterol is contributed to some foods like cheese, red meat which has a high fate, and also a high intake of milk. The best care is managing of the diet to check on foods like olive oil, avocado, or even nuts that will help in the cutting of fats (Kohli-Lynch et al., 2019). It will be important to also regularly visit the doctor for checkups and also apply technology by adopting a home testing kit to get the levels everywhere.

Case study 3.

The case is about a 65-year-old Spanish who has atrial fibrillation. The condition is mainly caused by old age or conditions like high blood pressure, lung diseases, heart valves, and they may come and go requiring treatment. For the patient, it is life-threatening especially if blood clots appear. It is characterized by weakness, fatigue, dizziness, chest pains and also reducing the ability to exercise (Pender, 2006). The control of the condition is in following the treatment plan given to have control of the heart rhythm and blood clots. For the application of technology, the cardioversion procedure can be applied.
