I have always loved the subjects Physics, Math and Chemistry, and for this reason I would love to avail the opportunity to select Chemical Engineering as my field of study. I am interested in Chemical Engineering due to the challenges involved in the scientific theory applications. These applications are linked with the practical and real world such as how we can deal with the nuclear wastes. During my education at high school, I was introduced with the subject of fluid dynamics. So, I specifically look forward to select this subject as part of my Chemical Engineering field. This field appeals me and I am aware of the present crucial role chemical engineering plays in different industries ranging from petrochemicals to pharmaceuticals. For me, one of the major attractions of this field is the broad range of career path it offers. By graduating in Chemical Engineering, I would be able to contribute a lot to the society with the help of technological innovation.

I have also applied in the industry internship scheme in order to gain a practical exposure to the field. This will be a great experience and it will make me mature enough to get enrolled in my degree with a broader experience and enhanced skills. I also aim to study the courses using e-learning on presentation and project management skills that are given by IChemE. I also took part in the educational schemes in High School, which enabled me to enhance my skills like time management, team working, and report writing skills. Throughout this internship, I had to correspond frequently to the academia and the mentors in this industry. This experience broadened my application and practice in the practical world.

Mechanical Engineering Personal Statement

I have always have a deep interest in cars design and robotics. I am fascinated by the way how robots perform huge amount of work efficiently and how the cars are manufactured. The issue is that I was not satisfied with the external appearance of these machines or how good they perform their functions. Instead, I am more curious and interested to learn about their mechanics and how they are manufactured. So, the main purpose of opting for Mechanical Engineering is because I want to explore the inner complexities of these machines and this field of engineering will help me satisfy my curiosities.

I am very passionate about engineering as it is like a wish granting spell. Selecting engineering as the field of study and majoring in Mechanical Engineering gives me a chance to dive further into the curious application of Physics and also finally utilizing my Mathematical knowledge which I achieved during the practical application of my A-levels. One thing I am willing to do is problem solving and I also know that I will be faced with many problems in the study of Mechanical Engineering. So, I want to solve these problems and the challenges to achieve the desired results. Also, I can solve the complex problems in the field of Mechanical Engineering in a creative way. Engineers are the one whose important contribution have changed this world. They help to develop, create and explore the new technologies. Being in this field will help me to experience all the amazing things that only exists in imagination like undersea building or flying vehicles. This field will help me to get hold of these marvelous creations and also making them a reality of the future. I would gladly join the fellow engineers in making these dreams a reality.
