Questionnaire
  1. What did you like or not like about the book Better, by Atul Gawande?

What the reading proposes when it comes to defining the ethical structure of the work of doctors is what is most interesting in the material provided by Gawande in his book. Relatively, being involved in the process of medicating and dealing with patients’ needs, demands and rights, Gawande’s authority in presenting the facts were helpful enough to present the controversies behind ethical measures of medicine and how these conditions of medical issues need to be given attention to by the public.

  1. How helpful were the peer reviews to you? How might they be more helpful?

The peer reviews served as a great source of reference, allowing me to peek on the studies that other researchers have already completed, therefore enriching the way that I see the different aspects of the course as applied in different aspects of living.

  1. How helpful were lectures/in-class activities? What did you like, and not like?

Every single activity pursued in the class was helpful to me. Besides the fact that these practices allowed me to develop patience on myself and a better understanding of the career I am aiming to master, It also provided be a greater chance to progress individually in the way I utilize research materials to formulating my own studies.

  1. In what ways has your writing improved over the course of the year?

Given that we were given the chance to write on several activities and requirements in class, I was fully helped to seen proper ways of checking my grammar to make sure that I present the right message to my readers. Apart from this, I was also given the chance to develop my ideals in criticizing my own work to make sure that I am able to present viable and reliable information to my target readers.

  1. What would you still like to improve in your writing?

The way I present the facts need to be more confident in tone. Due to a weak stand on what I think is right, the tone of my researches often appear to be less confident thus making them less believable. It would help if I’d expand by vocabularies better to be able to support the ideas that I want to use that proves my own confidence with the work I am presenting.

  1. Do you have any other final thoughts on the course?

The course was definitely helpful. All the activities, when done well, could be appreciated to have a great impact on how, we, the students develop our writing skills and our capacity to express our thoughts and our opinions through written outputs that could be shared to others for reading and information purposes.
