Death in the Modern World, Movie Review Example

Life preservation is one thing that basically defines the overall concept of medicine; through the years, it could be realized that somehow, the condition of saving life has taken several pictures that identifiably makes a mark on how one envisions life and death in the modern world. Noticeably, in the program viewed, the changes in death is one matter that marks the being of the new society and how it creates a mandate on how humans envision the point of ending that a person needs to go through [one that cannot be avoided].

Modern medicine has made it more possible for life preservation to occur even in a more synthetic approach. Relatively, it could be understood that there are medical breakthroughs that provides a more distinct sense of life-value that intends to prolong life as much as needed or as much as wanted. However, is this point of prolonging life ethical or justifiable?  Noticeably, while prolonging one’s life is a noble desire, it’s implication on one’s quality of life is rather negative in many terms.

In these times, death has become a choice; a matter of insistence on how one wants to accept or not accept the point of ending that one has to undergo. This decision is often defined with the capacity of the person or the family members to pay for the death-prolonging services. Modern medicine has raised such condition thus making it easier for people to make a choice; nevertheless, such choice may not have fully positive impact on individuals hence making it a questionable condition. True to its sense, it could be understood that somehow, death has become a synthetic choice that medicine could actually give intensive insistence on how the world faces a more definite course of finding what death is about and how much implication it should make on how life is lived by each person.
