Abstract
Social welfare workers are specifically dedicated to the provision of better life for the society. It could be realized that somehow, their role of being one of the most dependent sources of hope in modern societies is specifically an important part of their social function. Notably, it could be analyzed that it is with this function that social workers become worthy members of the community who can provide the most comprehensive source of developmental progress especially for those who are feeling the oppression of modern living. In the presentation that follows, understanding how a diversity project affects this particular role of social workers in defining the course of development of social worker operations in the modern society is to be given attention to.
Diversity Project Paper
Introduction
The primary role for social work is to create possible considerations that could bring about developmental procedures that are best able to alleviate the social problems that affect the situation of the different members of the society. Most often than not, social workers are dedicated to providing the less fortunate with their needs and giving them access to services that they were not given the chance to embrace as members of the society. These services could be referenced to healthcare provisions, food allowances, shelter and protection as well as security and safety measures that are supposed to give them assurance towards better living. To be able to perform towards the fulfillment of such roles, social workers follow certain policies that are able to assure them of their course of development in the aim of following a better path of providing ample service to the society. Such policies serve as guidelines as to how they should deal with matters that could provide them the best access to support provisions that could help them extend their services to those who are in need.
During the past few semesters, a project on diversity analysis has been undergone in the course of finding better ways of serving the less fortunate. In the process of making a better path towards social development, this diversity project is designed to explore the possibilities of improving what is already happening in the community. It is evidently important that such situations as this be given particular attention to hence creating a more comprehensive resolution for the problems being addressed.
Social Welfare Policy
Through the years of academically learning social welfare lessons, it has been realized that the need to support the vulnerable members of the society is a certain responsibility that social workers should give attention to. In the ideal manner of making an impact on the situations dealt with by the vulnerable members of the society, the social work operations are designed to create a connection between the less fortunate and the more fortunate members of the community hence allowing these sectors of the society to work alongside each other. It is envisioned that this would provide the realm of social work a better sense of making a connection between the different sectors of the society hence giving them a chance to make more relative changes in the way the roles and values of different individuals from the different levels of the society’s economic status are being recognized.
Having been able to evaluate the situations in Ghana and Ecuador, it has been realized that women within the said regions are in need of being supported especially when it comes to getting balanced opportunities in the society in relative connection to issues of gender inequality. Not only that, given the fact that the countries mentioned are currently recognized as part of the third world group of nations, it is expected that resources for survival in the said area are also scarce hence resulting to social chaos every now and then. At this point, it has been observed that most often than not, women become the subject of social oppression due to the fact that they are of a weaker more vulnerable state compared to men.
Upon seeing the said situation, it is then imposed that the empowerment of women in third world countries be given particular attention to. In line with the role of social workers to bring in balance to the society, the diversity project resolution being suggested in this documentation is highly related to the aim of creating a more relative connection between women of the third world and the first world countries. It is envisioned that through creating an international NGO dedicated to empowering the women altogether would alleviate the situations that are being faced by the women from all over the globe especially in the regions of Ghana and Ecuador along with other third world countries. Regardless of location, culture or language of the women to be addressed in the project, the organization being suggested to be established is entailed to make a correlative dedication towards the improvement of the cross cultural values that are evidently helpful in making the women realize of their rights and their capabilities to live better and more refined lives.
Through the application of this proposed solution, it is expected that women would be able to avoid instances of being involved in illegal course of living that includes prostitution, theft, and other situations that subject them to oppressive states which often involves them into living lives that are not able to bring them into better realization of their actual worth as women. At this point, the policy on the role of social workers to bring about better worth to individuals is being responded upon.
Conclusions and Recommendations
The world’s current state is rather implicative on the wide existence of imbalance and social inequality. It could be analyzed that somehow, this issue of one of the most unresolved courses of living that has caused several communities to undergo downfall that puts them and their chances of survival in jeopardy. Social workers and their role of keeping the balance relatively effective in the human society indeed plays a great role in responding to this particular matter. As shown in the documentation above, the recommendation on creating an international organization that serves the best entities of the society entails to create a more balanced source of social confidence that would bring about better opportunities of growth to the more vulnerable members of the community. It is expected that through the establishment of this organization that empowers the women from both the third world and first world countries to work together towards their betterment would provide women a better source of strength and more refined source of empowerment, allowing them to become assets to their community’s development as well.
