Anxiety is a serious concern for the modern society, one that specifically affects the way humans function accordingly. Relatively, these situations often bring about a sense of impact especially on how human individuals practically deal with their personal issues and problems that are at some point might seem rather unbearable. True, there are so many reasons why humans could develop a sense of anxiety especially because of the emergence of many source of particular disturbances in the society and the ways by which humans are pressured to compellingly respond to the norms that they ought to be fully in control of.
Noticeably, this is what the work of Sheldon (et al, 2008) is about. Examining what anxiety is and how it develops among members of the society depending on the situation that they are in and the different elements that affect them accordingly. Practical options of dealing with the matter through helping them undergo an evidence-based intervention program. Providing a definite turn on how target individuals could actually recover from their situation and the fact that they are being pressured to live a life that they are simply accustomed to deal with.
The journal used as the reference for this particular discussion involves the inclusion of at least 50 participants into the experimentation system that insists on how effective indication of research would best be able to provide a distinct source of competence on how anxiety could be dealt with especially among individuals experiencing points of depression and emotional distress due to the elements that affect them fully [coming from either the internal or the external elements that surround the said individuals]. The utilization of such a sample population is expected to make a definite insistence on concentrating on the matters that distinctively affect them depending on their work background, their family issues, their current perception on life’s most common issues and their personal understanding on how to deal with the pressures that they have to face daily.
Based from this particular research, it has been realized that the attitude of individuals have a great impact on how anxiety could be managed. Since many of the external elements cannot be controlled [because they have specific structures that cannot be changed], it is the internal elements that need to be considered accordingly. Noticeably, allowing the participants to undergo a behavioral and perceptional intervention program gives the participants a sense of control on themselves; one thing that they could manage, that matter that would suggest they have the capacity to manage the point of anxiety accordingly.
Since the research is based upon a qualitative-quantitative approach of data analysis, it is assumed that evidence-based operations does improve the way the current situations and psychological issues dealt with by the patients [the participants] are practically responded to. With good command on these particular elements, psychological practitioners aiming to help individuals experiencing episodes of anxiety and all the other matters that develop from such issue could be able to find distinct intervention programs that would best provide the most practical solution to the matter.
Through time, it is expected that good command of the situation could best improve the way the problems are resolved, including those that develop because of the said underlying situations. Noticeably, psychological issues spur from particular stressors; allowing patients of anxiety become more knowledgeable about their situation gives them a better sense of managing their health situation accordingly.
