• I believe that this article does exemplify enough information to determine its accuracy for slimming obese monkeys. However, I am not sure of its importance of the article. The article begins by stating that this approach may help obese humans lose weight.  However, if the research is thought out more and perfected than I think that the approach may work.  Nevertheless, as of now, I don’t think the approach will work on humans. Therefore, I don’t think it is a significant factor to mention.

• The information suggested isn’t biased. However, it is leaned towards obese humans, and monkeys of course. This article is introducing a drug that helps lose 11 percent of body weight in over a month.  Therefore, individuals who are skinny and/or average weight wont benefit from this article.

• I believe this information is thought out properly using the scientific method. However, I don’t believe the scientific method is used correctly when discussing the affect on humans.  In essence, I think the information was constructed carefully when the drug was used on monkeys, but I don’t believe the scientific method was used correctly and fully when discussing the affect of the drug on humans.  I think the scientific method, as well as a lot of experimenting must be completed before the drug could be passed along to humans.

 What is the long-term impact of this information on humans?

• If this drug is proven to work on humans than it could greatly impact individuals on a long-term basis. Majority of individuals in the United States of America are obese, therefore finding a way to help individuals lose 11 percent of their body weight can help all individuals in starting a healthy lifespan.

 Could you use the information in the article to personally improve your life?

• If this article is proven to help obese individuals than it could improve my life because I am not the average weight for my age and height. Therefore, having a drug that is scientifically proven to help lose body weight than it could make me a healthier individual. However, if the article isn’t proven to help humans than it is useless to me and cant improve my life at all.
