Did you hear about SB1234?  They want to give amnesty to illegal immigrants and let ‘em take over the country.  Ain’t that a poke in the eye.  I’ve been out of work for six months and with this economy, can’t even get an interview anywhere.  Now they want to give whatever jobs there are to illegals.  It’s hard enough out there without having to compete with people who are willing to work for low wages.  I’m really frosted about this thing.

I think it was Senator Badman that introduced this idiotic bill.  What was he thinking?  They want to give these guys amnesty for being here illegally, then reward them with citizenship after two years.  Last I checked illegal meant illegal.  I mean, this is like having no immigration policy at all.  With all these tough times, I wonder if I should just rob a bank.  Maybe Badman will give me amnesty and then reward me with a new car.  (LOL)

Anyway, I told Leaderman that we needed strong leaders in this country to fix this immigration thing – not some cop-out bill that says “OK.  Everyone’s legal now.”  I also told him that we won’t forget how he votes on this come November.  I’m enclosing a copy of my letter.  Maybe you could write one as well.  We need to make sure our voices are heard!
