Executive Summary
Every organization that employs several individuals intends to empower each worker to perform well. In relation to this matter, it is proposed to the administrators of Wellstar Health Systems to consider the possibility of increasing employees’ satisfaction through giving them free access to health programs amounting to $35 of enrollment each month. This investment on the people would bring in more profitable returns if applied well.
In this report, a focus on how a free health program could improve employee work performance shall be given attention to. It is believed that with the satisfaction of the employees increased, their performance would also improve at the same time. Relatively though, such application of change in the program of employee support provided by the organization should be handled with full care and attention to details dedicated to empowering the employees as they perform the tasks they are expected to complete at work.
Report Presentation
Employee-motivation is an important part of business operations and human resource management that often involves the capacity of administrators to see through the situation that their employees have to work with. Every person has a personal source of satisfaction; and every organizational administration needs to recognize this fact and work around it accordingly. To do this, it is important to find a common ground where the administrators and employees’ condition of satisfaction is met thus improving the way they perform towards each others’ benefits. For the Wellstar Health System, it is important that employees be given the chance to enjoy gym services as part of their employment. It is expected that workers in a wellness company like Wellstar be physically fit. Such an investment on the part of the administrators would actually result in better sales and increased profit from services provided by the company to the public who are to become more convinced of what the organization could give, especially in terms of physical training.
Problem Statement
Employees who are not fully satisfied with their jobs are often performing lower than the average level of excellence and effectiveness in gaining more for the organization (Arvey, et al, 1989). Noticeably, giving those better options and free provisions from the organization gives them a morale boost that allows them to realize how much they are being taken care of by their administrators. As a result, these individuals become more dedicated at work and are likely to become more effective in performing assigned tasks. With healthier bodies and more sound minds, the employees of the company would be able to do better at work. Currently, not all members of the employed individuals in the business are as healthy as required by their position at work.
Methodology
Getting more from the employees constitute the ideal way of giving them more benefits (Wegge, et al, 2007); the provision of a free gym enrollment and training services would give them the edge in fully defining the way they present the services of the organization to the clients. Being able to experience the training themselves could make them more convincing in the eyes of their clients, hence increasing profit from an investment of at about $35 for each employee. Surveying and interviewing the employees regarding the current status with the benefits and services shall define the applicability of developing the free program for the employees. This shall be done during a quarterly meeting that is regularly handled in the company.
Findings
People who are fully dedicated within the system that they are working with are more effective in presenting facts to clients (Spector, 1997). Considerably, being convinced that the training works makes it easier for the employees to develop more distinct ways of inviting people to enjoy the services of the organization. They are the living proof of the training effective impact on one’s health, could be the most implicative way of marketing that the business needs to boost up sales (Organ, et al, 1995). In the survey and interview process engaged with, it was found out that 65% of the employees strongly agree with the program basically because they believe that it will help them develop physical competence in completing their work tasks while also inviting prospect clients to enroll in the programs offered by the business. While the lower percentage of the workers see such approach to be less affective to the way they work, the 65% response from those who would want to embrace the program’s benefit is enough to indentify the possible benefits to be gained from such application of free health program for the employees of the company.
Analysis
Through cross referencing the effect of the program on the employees and how the performance of the employees affects the increased rate of enrollment and sales, the practical benefit of the investment on the free health program dedicated for the workers of the organization is deemed to be more effective in the long run. This indicates that the movement on the part of the administration would be worth it in improving the performance of the whole business in the industry (Judge, et al, 1997). Hence, it is recommended that the company administrators formulate a proper schedule that would be set to provide the employees with the free programs they could be entitled on a regular basis. This should be dependent on how long they have been working for the company and what particular departments they are serving in the business. Some, who are more involved in office works need lesser training compared to those who are set within the gym area and are expected to assist incoming clients accordingly.
Conclusion
With the focus on employee satisfaction established, the program being proposed herein aims to create a bridge that would connect employee and administrational benefits therefore improving how the company operates as a whole. The overall viewpoint of this report proves how much impact the Wellstar Health System’s administrative move towards improving employee satisfaction through giving them free access to gym training and health programs could provide the entire business a better source of competent service and operation.
