Goals and Achievements, Personal Statement Example

 The real worth of a person depends in his capacity to become more distinctive in the ways that he establishes his foundation through the goals he creates in front of him. It could be realized that through time, goals have been proven as one of the most effective guides any person could use in order to become more definitive in the being he wants to embrace. As for me, I want to fully recognize my worth as a person through sharing whatever I have and whatever I know with others. I believe that the extension of my life serves as the extension of my being. As a nurse, such desire provides me a better chance of seeing matters at a much clearer picture; one that would basically create a distinct presentation of how I am going to use my talent and skills in making sure that my patients get what they need and be satisfied with the service I am to give them. This goal basically follows the principled basis of the aspect of care [to which nursing stands upon].

Not only that, the goal to extend myself also supports two of the most important cores of nursing function which celebrates integrity and excellence. Part of my goals is to contribute something new to the nursing practice; to make sure that before accomplishing the completion of my life; I would have already left a remarkable legacy to the field of nursing; one that would affect the thinking and process of operation of other nurses in the field.

The final goal is to mandate a sense of control on how I personally affect the point of camaraderie that I would be sharing with my peers, my colleagues especially in making sure that I function well alongside them. Nursing is a team-based operation; no one stands alone. In this course of belief, I do prepare myself towards adjusting to others in order to break the barriers that diversity itself might press on me and my colleagues; this would make it easier for me to focus more on my patients rather than on my personal issues.
