1 – Talk about the Assess Semester Group Project
The group assessment project for the semester is focused on developing the capacity of the students to give consideration on particular positions in the actual engineering industry. This activity enables each student to have a better condition of understanding the ups and downs of a particular position in the industry and create an evaluative analysis that allows them to develop deeper recognition of the importance of the role that the said individuals play in the industry. Through the insights gained from the project, the students become properly equipped with the knowledge they need to explore the possibilities that are open for them in the engineering industry. Knowing the different points of consideration regarding a particular position in the engineering industry gives the students a realistic view of what they are to expect and how they are to develop skills and conditions of better thinking to be able fit into the position they are hoping for to embrace later on after finishing their studies.
On the other end, it is evidently distinguishable how the activity teaches the students with a specific skill that improves their research approaches especially relating to completing actual interviews. The desire, and most likely the need to get necessary information from people to be able to complete particular tasks in class, is most often than not a practical trial on how they are to take on similar tasks in the actual working world. The improvement on the capacity of students to comply to instructions relatively connected to assumptions of research based on actual interview is of course designed to give the students proper confidence that would allow them to develop proper personal control in the future when they are asked to complete interviewing tasks at work.
Working with the group to complete the said assigned project is another matter to consider in the field of operational development that this project imposes to develop. Later on the conversation and interaction between the students allow them to convey information towards each other and come up with a final presentation that would further define the outcome of their efforts. This part of the activity increases the establishment of camaraderie between the students enrolled in the course.
2 – Assessment Tables:
Student assessment: | The students who have undergone the semester’s project have specifically shown a level of professionalism especially in conducting interviews with the personnel they are aiming to get proper understanding from. Following the guidelines needed for the project’s completion, the students have found it helpful that the curriculum itself provides a better source of understanding that could enable them to relate to the people they are supposed to conduct inquiring questions with.
|
Assessment of the company: | Considering the time needed to complete each interview, the companies involved in the project were kind enough to give their time and share their thoughts and knowledge about the people whose positions are being assessed in relation to the task assigned for the project. No hesitations whatsoever were evident during the process hence enabling the students to complete the project according to time and with full accuracy. |

Assessment Group: | Working together as a team has become a primary key to success in relation to the group aspect of the assignment. In this regard, it could be said that the group [or partner] combination that defined the connection of the students who are expected to handle the activities properly have been proven effective as the outcomes are appear to be rather informative and helpful in redefining the positions that the students intended to explore accordingly.
|
Assessment of the presentation | Each team did a good job especially in presenting the final results of their research and assessment operations. Considerably, such presentations gave a good indication on how the positions explored responded well to the interest of the students involved in each research and interview approach given attention to during the course’s project completion.

Assessment report which includes the following:
Semester Group Project The objective of the project is to:
-The project aims to improve the thinking and analytical capabilities of the students in relation to the development of information to relate to actual situations in the industry.
-manifest a better way of understanding the matters involved with particular positions in the field of Engineering and have the students realize their capacities in par with the positions they have researched upon.
Phase 1: Interview
Four important steps to complete Phase 1:
- -completion of the primary questions to be asked
- setting the appointment with the interviewee
- -appearing on time for the set appointment prepared
- -conducting the interview effectively with the efficient use of time allotted for the said activity
Phase 2: Profiles and Competencies for Jobs A and B.
At the end of Phase 2, a professional interim report needs to be submitted. This phase has two main outcomes:
- Collecting of comprehensive data from the interview performed
- Synchronizing data with learned theories and other helpful information from class
- Assessing the information’s value for the project and preparing the presentation
- Presenting data to the class
Phase 3: Electronic Tools for Hiring and Performance Evaluation by HRM.
- Researching on the requirements needed for the job
- Outlining particular screening tests based on levels of passing as completed by each applicant
- Laying down the actual tests for response from applicants
- Setting the values for evaluation and how qualified applicants could be identified.
