Most Important Healthcare services and why

In my opinion the most important health care services are those which offer emergency management. It is clear that when disasters occur there is always the need for respondents. People panic and health care personnel sometimes do. Therefore, when paramedics arrive at scenes of accidents so much relief is brought to the public.

Next in line are those which provide long term care to terminally ill people. The role of a twenty-first century Community Health Nurse is focused on addressing the needs of on individuals and their families in their natural habitat or home environment. Families need emotional, physical, financial and spiritual support besides actual heath care services intervention. As such, strategic manuvoures must be focused on providing these support services to family which cannot cope with end of life and long term care scenarios.

How might the lives of people needing this service be different if that service were unavailable?

Just think of there being no emergency rooms neither people trained to arrest bleeding or pick someone up from under an object that has pinned them down. Surely at accident scenes and natural disaster since everyone would just have to resign to die since there services existed to save lives.

Also, what if there were no community nurses present to offer in house support to grieving families who are about to loose their loves one through cancer; There would be no hope and we would have a society of poor health care for citizens who die an undignified death. Just take a look at societies which do not have these categories of health care due to poverty. The life expectancy rate is very low and death rate higher than nations that can afford such services.
