In the recent past, mobile phones were used as simple devices to make phone calls only. With advancement in technology however, the lives of most people has been transformed by the use of ubiquitous Smartphone which have been documented as being more powerful as compared to computers. Smartphone has been competing with computers in many parts of western countries while in Asia, personal access to the internet has been facilitated by the use of Smartphone and most people are paining significant fraction of disposable incomes to purchase Smartphone (Arnold, 2010). A Smartphone is an important gadget that enhances the manner in which people connect with customers. The instrument can achieve multiple tasks including answering calls, emailing, sending and receiving text messages and surfing the web. Smartphone resemble a small computer that can be carried at all times by the owner. This improves the efficiency, flexibility and effectiveness of interaction and connecting to customers at all times thus creating significant implications in the way people deal with business organizations.

Smartphone is currently in use to increase convenience in data storage as well as processing. Smartphone enable easy sharing of information between different people in different geographical locations.  Smartphone enable people to easily interact and socialize over the internet and share ideas. On the business front, the Smartphone is used to store private and confidential information to safe guard data integrity, confidentiality as well as privacy. Smartphone also enable data synchronization between different communications devices, for instance information on the Smartphone can be easily transferred to other source as administrative data management system. Smartphone has played a crucial role in knowledge intensive organizations that require efficiency in the way business is conducted. These organizations have been able to attract a huge workforce from the labor market thus creating more places of jobs.
