The article by Gary L. Freed (et al) released in 2002, presents a distinct indication on how policy formation is handled in the field of medicine. It also explores the involvement of the government administration in controlling the situation especially in making sure that the public is given proper idea of what is happening. The case basically involves the critical measure of imposing the release and distribution of thimerosal in vaccines given to the public.
