Journal – Ender’s Game, Movie Review Example

In this movie the basic components of contemporary film technology are obvious. The technical effects are superb. Sound tract lists 20 distinct items with their individual scores. Also, the film itself depicts many modern devices such as demonstrating artistic control through color and vital sound effects. Characters are dress appropriately for their roles.

• The most obvious futuristic technology is observed inthe international commanders counter attack of Formics program on human species. Formics executed invasions on earth destroying millions of people. Commanders of an international fleet embark on a fifty year mission to enlist gifted children in a program for executing a counter attack mission project. In this counter attack fleet program children are the commanders.
• From information presented in the movie this program is likely to involve a space combat. However, Colonel Hyrum Graff and Major Gwen Anderson ordered that Ender’s devices/monitors be removed to end the space combat. In response Ender launches an attack ultimately being selected to undergo special cadet training. The training was expected to equip Ender with special space combat skills. In this video there are many characters seen engaging in various practices pertaining to the counter attack training for a new fleet of space scientists. These young cadets are organized into squads during their study time and share experinces received during exposure to learning warfare interventions.
• Clearly the problem here lies between Ender and project management,Colonel Hyrum Graff and Major Gwen Anderson, who wants to undermine the space combat program due of prejudice. Some colleges such asStilson, defeated by Ender in the combat sim became envious and tries to undermine Ender’s dexterity too. Meanwhile a significant part of the training program encompassed a Zero Battle Room  training game experience
• In my opinion the training games might have been a resolution to the external combat between project managers and Ender along with Stilson. Ender devised strategies that reformed these games after exploring possibilities through the computer. He then demonstrated his exceptional abilities, which were never displayed by older students in the program.
• The feasibility of this international commanders’ program (whereby the game technology is advanced) lies in its outcome of producing solutions to counterattackFormics. Ender proved to be a student with exceptional gifts. Ender’s game exploration resulted in the realization of a fantasy world. In this world mind game he meets with a Formic and defeats the one in the encounter.

Rhetorical Situation of the international Commander project

The rhetorical situation occurs after Ender’s exceptional success with the computer mind games when he finds a Formic and defeats him. Simultaneously, project consultant Graff explores the youngster’s expertise drafting him into his own squad. The film articulates this action with prudence highlighting the falling action of the film literature plot.

Ethical Considerations of the international Commander project

For me, there are huge ethical issues for consideration in the international commander project.First, it is the enlisting of gifted children. At the beginning of the film Ender’s conflict with the project managers taking away his monitors and other scientific devises as he joins the program. There was no precondition regulating this action on a minor. Second is the use of Ender’s discovery of the mind games. How would this invention be published?

Diversity/Sustainability Considerations ofthe international Commander project

In my opinion the diversity potential of the mind game discovery within this international commander program depends on whether space combat officials market the device as a space combat equipment. Sustainability is ties to this action also.
