a.) Best Practices
This specific approach is noted as the most superior process that would provide the management team with the most contemplating results from the efforts that the entire team put forth to be able to create a distinct indication on how good works applied properly would actually serve as a source of good outcome. In the field of management, this indicates a specific culture that defines a particular standardized system of operation that has been tested through time. Considerably, the application of these standards specifically implies the possible creation of better results for the organization being directed.
b.) SWOT
The chance of identifying the points of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that affect the overall integrity and capacity of a particular organization is specifically implied to create an effective way of helping the management create a direction that the entire team would be able to follow as desired. With these identified elements in the organization, it is expected that the management would be able to better direct the people and the entire team towards the success that is desired by the organization as part of its mission and its original goal. Specifically, a SWOT analysis would provide a distinct process on how both the internal and external elements affecting an organization could be directed by the management as a basis of the most distinct progress that the organization needs.
c.) Benchmarking
Providing a sense of measurement as to which approach is the best, benchmarking involves the need of the organization to find a practical way to deal with the current situations of the organization. These points of measurement invokes the utilization of performance metrics that compare the achievements of the organization with others hence targeting the progress of the organization in concern.

2) Select three historical figures you believe were effective leaders, and explain why you believe they were successful. Mahatma Gandhi, this leader who is known to be the first Indian national who was able to stand against British oppressors during his time, stood as the epitome of freedom and wisdom in India and even towards the other parts o the world. His personal desire to promote nonviolent options of freeing his people made his approach rather effective and unique that it was able to direct the nation into relative success into gaining what they have specifically wanted in the first place.
Martin Luther King, a well-known African American leader, has firmly believed on the need of people to be free from discrimination. Such belief lead him to brining his people into understanding their rights and bringing them to a realization on how they should view such rights as an indicative element of their personalities and their role in the society.
Abraham Lincoln, one of the most famous leaders of the American nation, he believed on the need of the people to live a balanced life thus expanding his campaign against slavery. His desire to impose practical rules that would set peace and balance in America set a new history for the nation’s entire future.
Overall, all these leaders seem to have one common attitude towards people, that they ought to be free and specifically given the chance to realize such point of freedom fully. Believing on the people was a constant element that these leaders specifically depended their thoughts and idealisms on.
