Measuring Personal Life-Satisfaction, Research Paper Example

Pages: 1

Words: 299

Research Paper

Measuring personal life-satisfaction could be considered almost impossible to take into account especially when it comes to gauging the factors that mean as much to the participants to whom the study has been based upon. It could be realized that somehow, the creation of connection between elements of satisfaction and the point of realizing ones value accordingly does make a definite insistence on how a person’s physical, mental and psychological perspectives are able to make a distinct sense of what needs to be given attention to, especially in the hope of making an assured decision with regards the elements that make the life rather satisfying.

To measure such point of satisfaction, this study engages 10 females and 12 males in order to get distinct results from which the research shall be dependent upon. From such points of consideration, a determination of the age-differences between the participants is also seen to have a great impact on the results aimed to be analyzed for the research. With a median range of 45-50 in relation to the age to which the participants belong to, it is understood that the concept of life satisfaction could be fully recognized according to the points of prolonged experiences that the participants have had in their lifetime.

Measuring life satisfaction is then handled in this research through detailed survey procedures that are dedicated towards creating a connective factor that identifies with the desires of the participants, how these desires are reached and how the completion of such desires give a sense of satisfaction to the individuals involved. The survey, which served as the primary instrument to the research served well especially in creating a clear line that correlates the value of living that is recognized by the participants and the factors that bring out such essence of personal satisfaction.
