Many articles on nutrition are available and information is obtained from scientific research. The website is edited by professors at the various departments of Harvard University. Because of the non-biased and scientific approach, the information on The Nutrition Source may be trusted.

The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition is a peer-reviewed online journal funded by the American Society of Nutrition. The mission of this organization is to improve health and wellness through research on nutrition. The journal offers information on nutrition and how it relates to disease, metabolism, and the effects of vitamins and minerals. The scientific nature of the website is targeted more towards scientists and healthcare professionals, but most of the articles are available to the general public. The information is supported by scientific research and is overall reliable and up-to-date.
