Plane Exhaust Kills More People than Plan CrashesBy Mason Inman: National Geographic

The issue of pollution is considered as a long time problem that has been affecting the human society especially in recognition of industrialization and the advancement of transportation. In the article Plane Exhaust Kills More People than Plan Crashes by Inman, he points out that apart from the plane crashes that airlines are being accounted for, it should be realized that pollution from  plane exhaust should be given equal attention as it also kill as much people each year. The taking off and landing of planes often dispenses off such killer emissions and thus should be regulated.

Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are the most common deadly air pollutants carried by airplanes as they take off and as they land. These strong emissions are expected to be mixed with air thus affecting people who are working on the airline grounds and the surrounding environment within the said area. However, due to the fact that planes fly by air, the emissions are also carried around in areas close to airports which includes residential locations.

As a resolution to the situation, presenting possible pollution tracking procedures have been prepared. Along with this, instantiating a process of regulating the emissions through developing more efficient airplanes is currently being planned by several airlines around the globe. The aviation industry and its integrity in keeping its stand against pollution is facing a great challenge of lowering the rate of pollution it emits through the air.

The claims and presentations of Inman regarding the issue at hand is rather strong enough to get the attention of the public and the authorities who are supposed to give consideration on the matter. The proofs he presented were valid enough in portraying the truth and making a distinctive condition of awareness on the part of the readers. Convincingly, this article discussed the problems and the resolutions in a clarified manner that its application is seen to be reliable enough for the aviation industry to consider.
