Religious Quiz, Questionnaire Example

Pages: 2

Words: 421

Questionnaire
  1. Muslims are fanatics who believe in a different god (than Christians and Jews).

Being fanatic and religious are two different things. Being religious specifically insists on the behavior of humans to identify themselves within a particular religious group as they follow the traditions and conditions of living it suggests to be righteous. In a way, Muslims are more religious than fanatic. They also believe in one God, an idealism that is also suggested among Christians and Jews.

  1. Muslims are the natural and irreconcilable enemy of Christians and Europeans.

Not necessarily. The only reason why Christian-Muslim conflicts exist is because of the idealisms in religion that they do not share. On the other end, the Europeans tend to live more liberal lives, a matter that most Muslims do not consider necessary as it does negate the foundations of their faith on tradition and conservatism. For a fact, Muslims all over the globe are able to make friends with other people who do not share their faith.

  1. Islam is the negation of civilization.

There are different denominations of the Muslim belief. There are those who stick to tradition and there are the modernists who also embrace particular elements of modern living that specifically coincide with their standing and beliefs about God [Allah] and the life that he imposes on people to live.

  1. Islam is a monolithic bloc, static and unresponsive to change.

Change is embraceable and Muslims are able to get along with such adjustment. For instance, one of the largest Muslim countries in the world, Saudi Arabia hosts one of the most modernized cultures and societies in the globe.

  1. Islam is barbaric, irrational, and primitive.

As mentioned in the previous question, the advancement of Saudi Arabia, one of the largest Muslim nations in the world proves the capacity of the people believing in Islamic beliefs to be specifically adaptable to change.

  1. Islam is violent and supports terrorism to coerce people into joining Islam.

Although it cannot be denied that there are numerous Muslim members who engage in terroristic acts, not all Muslims engage themselves in such situations. The mistake of one individual or a particular denomination of the said belief need not subject the entire group into such stereotype.

  1. Islam is thoroughly sexist, more than other religions.

The Muslim religion is not the only denomination that places high regard to men as the superior gender. The Bible in itself supports such idea. Its only that the Muslim belief puts higher regard to the said gender because of the role that they are supposed to play in the society.
