Pages: 2

Words: 674

Research Proposal

ISIS or the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant [ash-Sham] is considered to be today’s strongest and most dangerous terrorist groups in the world today. Feared by many, it is assumed to have a strong control on the different issues that the Saudi Arabian community is involved with at present. The world at present is in fear; hence, the need to understand the real connection between ISIS and Saudi Arabia ought to be given specific attention to especially in the hope of embracing a new sense of determination on what is meant by such point of political consideration and what it could impose on the real condition of what needs to be worked upon in relation to the situation that affects world administrational operations. This documentation aims to propose a research on how such connection could be understood better.

To note, the research shall revolve on investigating the primary source of the conflict that brought about the creation and emergence of ISIS as a rebellious militant group. The historical data that leads towards understanding the core reason behind the birth of ISIS aims to establish a specific foundation that makes it easier for the research to embrace a certain point of stage-by-stage analysis of the connection between ISIS and SA administration. After treading down through the history of the base-foundation of ISIS, exploring the different theories behind SA Administration funding and supporting the operations of the group shall be given attention. Through the use of valid resources that entails to establish a better value of historical data in connection to how the administration takes a stand in the values it gives attention to, it is expected that the research would be able to provide a better light especially in considering how the developments of such connection further pushes the ISIS operations into a much higher ground of impacting the entire administrative positioning of SA governance especially in standing for their goals of determining how to resolve issues while saving the lives of thousands of civilians already being affected by the chaotic situations of the groups involved in the course of social turmoil happening in the middle east.

Some possible references include The Telegraphs article on “Iraq jihadists seize ‘nuclear material’, says ambassador to UN” written by Ruth Sherlock as it discusses the most contradicting points of indication on how the connection between ISIS and SA administration creates a definite insistence on how the settling of issues between the group and the government could resolve social issues. Another reference that could be used for the study would be the article on Financial Times entitled Selling Terror: How ISIS Details Its Brutality written by Khalaf Roula as it discusses one of the most controversial issues that specifically determines the condition by which the works and operations of ISIS is supported by the government. What is assumed to be the conditional process by which ISIS thrives in is something that correlatively establishes the creation of effective terroristic governance that makes the position of the organization easier to control for the sake of setting up better social structure in Saudi Arabia and the neighboring regions directly affected by the works of ISIS.

To conclude, this particular research shall try to restructure the ways by which ISIS is understood and its role in the community is given particular attention to. The work of the group and the way it has been specifically functioning as well as the assumed strength behind its operation shall be explored accordingly so as to remove particular assumptions that are putting the SA administration as well as that of other efforts of other nations and international groups such as UN at a halt due to the works of ISIS; a matter that impacts international political and military works.
