Through My Life, Personal Statement Example

All through my life, my dream has been to take part in delivering medical services to my community. Earlier, having done economics, I realized that my life was empty and that I did not enjoy my life. I could see that the only connection that I had with the patients was when it came to checking their finances or dealing with their health loans.

I set up my mind to volunteer in one of the community clinic buses. During this time, I realized that there was a lot I could do in the medical field – especially in advocacy. It was important that I began teaching organic chemistry in college, volunteered at Grenville shelter clinic for free access to health care, and then became the AMA president. I have a lot of experience in serving the less fortunate, a quality that helped me to enroll as valedictorian in college. During this time, I decided to enroll as a step1 tutor. As I pursued my step three clerkship in the field, I realized that I was much more into academic surgery. Therefore, I started to read a lot regarding surgery practice, which gave me a purposeful view of what I wanted to achieve in medicine.

I am more into creating changing patient experiences in my community through participating in modern technological surgery processes. I also want to ensure efficiency while delivering surgical processes to patients. I will give my utmost in delivering positive patient cantered outcomes in my community.
