I am wishing to apply for the Interior Design Programat Villa Maria College, as I am determined to gain an excellent set of qualifications and a high standard of knowledge that will enable me to achieve my career goals of becoming a professional interior designer. I posses a great many qualities that make me a suitable candidate for this course and I will try to express them to you in this statement.

I am currently a student studying Interior Design at another institution; however, I feel that your educational institution is better suited to my needs and desire to succeed in this industry. Thus, I wish to transfer to your college in order to improve my skills and knowledge in this subject.Consequently, I believe that I already possess many of the skills required to successfully complete this course at your college. Thus, I do not feel that I will have missed out on any vital information and so I should be able to settle into student life at your college quickly so as to fully concentrate on my studies.

From a very young age, I was always fascinated by the subject of interior design. I would always get involved in discussions relating to the layout, design and furnishings of rooms. I remember that as a child I would conscientiously draw many different designs for the different rooms of my house. Hence, it is clear to see that I have a life-long ambition to become an interior designer. As such, I am incredibly excited to have come to the decision of applying to Villa Maria College and I whole-heartedly hope that you will give me the opportunity to demonstrate my talent at your institution.

From what I have heard, your college is one of the best institutions for this course, as you have a great many facilities to enhance your students’ learning, such as, your highly experienced tutors for example. In addition to this, a qualification in Interior Design from Villa Maria College will allow me to continue my education to a higher level at any of the best universities in the country. This is one of the reasons why I have made such a big decision: one of which I have not taken lightly.

In closing, I hope it is clear to see why I wish to transfer to the Interior Design Program at Villa Maria College and that I would be a suitable candidate for a position on this course. I strongly believe that I have the necessary skills and motivation to succeed as a student on this course.
