Wall-E, Movie Review Example

Pages: 1

Words: 399

Movie Review

In the movie, Wall-E, humans have lived in space without having to do anything, and therefore have relied on technology to take care of everything,

The movie exhibits all types of robots that do everything and eventually take on more humanistic types of qualities, while the humans appear to turn robots.  The technology takes form in spaceships, and interesting types of gadgets capable of everything.

The humans were supposed to live in the spaceship, while the Earth was being cleaned up; however, the technology that was being used to help re-establish the Earth could not return it to a good state, and the supposedly 5 years in a spaceship turned into seven hundred years.

The humans use technology to move them around and provide their every need.  The humans do not even have a job that would give them some exercise.  For instance, if a human went to the beauty salon, a robot would replace the hairdresser.  Meals are also delivered by robots.

In today’s society, we use the same types of methods, such as drive-thru’s. Instead of having to walk into the restaurant, the car takes you through and you order the food and have it handed directly to you.

The feasibility of the technology in the movie occurring in the future is likely. We currently rely on technology for most things, such as work, communication, etc.  We even have vacuum cleaners that move around on their own.  Amazon has tried to implement remote control deliveries instead of a mail carrier.

The spaceship will be discussed as the technology. The spaceship provided a means for the people to the leave the earth they destroyed, while it was attempted to be cleaned and renewed. The audience is for adults watching the movie to illustrate the need for awareness for the environment and the need to not rely on technology in order to prevent any consequences observed in the movie.

The ethical outcomes of the technology enable humans to continue to rely on technology and continue to waste away the Earth and the current state of living.

The spaceship is limited in that the people are contained on the ship and there is an unrealistic resource available. Space is limited, there are no renewable resources, and the power of the people is decreased.  The technology, in the end, allows humans the need to resist using technology in order to get back to Earth in order to prevent consequences.
