Colorado Technical University is the institution of my choice to pursue my course via Online Division. Online universities have been increasing over the years to meet the raising demand of many students who prefer to pursue their courses online. However, not all universities offer what they have advertised for to meet the intellectual standards which one is required to have after successful completion of the courses being offered. Therefore, my decision to settle on Colorado Technical University online training was after evaluation of a number of other Universities and concluded it would the best choice through which I will be able to realize my career in criminal justice.

Colorado Technical University is one of the few universities which are offering Criminal Justice online. Although the university has recently incorporated the course on distance learning it has been taught in the university for long. I have as well accessed the success of other courses which had been offered online for a longer duration than criminal Justice and they have been successful. I am therefore confident on their consistency in delivery of the course and they have what it takes to deliver a course which will equip me with the skills I need.

A certificate is just a paper but its recognition is the one which is paramount. Therefore, when one is choosing a University they should take in to consideration of its certificate recognition. Therefore, when I decided to enroll to the online course in Colorado Technical University I took in to consideration that its certification is recognizable in the job market internationally as its adhere to the required standard meant for its graduates to be competitive in the Job market. After successful completion of any course one enters in the Job market and this is the most challenging and competitive to secure employment with the increased levels of unemployment. Hence, the Job market will only assimilate those with exceptional performance and their certifications are recognized. I do not want to chance by enrolling to any other university.

The university has the required infrastructure and technology to deliver the course online. Unlike other universities with online courses. Colorado Technical University has 24/7 technical support therefore it gives me flexibility of being able to do my studies at any time of the day which is convenient. The course materials and its online library has enough resources that shall enable me to pursue the course conveniently to equip my self in readiness to disseminate the skills acquired in Criminal Justice as a private detective which is my preferred line of career.

The university program course structure is well equipped with most relevant components such as criminal investigation, United States Law enforcement, community relations and criminology. Although, even other universities offers the same modules in Colorado Technical University for one to graduate in criminal justice is mandatory to complete psychology classes which I need as well. As a private detective I need to have skills on psychology as it would assist me when executing my duties. This is also a factor which I took into consideration of making Colorado Technical University my University of choice.

My advice to those who are sourcing for a University is to analyze the opportunities they have to settle on the most appropriate. Most students have made mistakes of selecting a University with haste without first investigating its delivery of the course and recognition of its certificate in the Job Market. Such decisions have been very costly in their adventure to realize their career by getting substandard training which makes them uncompetitive in the market and the certificates they have are not recognized by the employers.
