Becoming an AGSM MBA Student, Admission Essay Example

Community plays a very important role in most aspects of economics, politics, and other various social organizations throughout the United States.  Particularly, the management and business communities are a close-nit community that is well known for providing seminars and business workshops to help build upon the skills and philosophies of other successful corporations and organizations.  By becoming admitted in to the MBA program at the Australian Graduate School of Management, I am seeking to enter into this illustrious community and help provide further advancement through my own educational research.  Furthermore, it is my goal to take the knowledge gained from the MBA program and utilize real world application methods to help advance the management and business communities at a more personal level.  This will be achieved through my direct actions, as well as the management theories gained in motivating and managing others.  By helping to create a more efficient and effective work environment through my own actions and business philosophies, I will be positively contributing to the illustrious community.

Community spirit is a very specific concept that can be very special or completely nonexistent in the wrong environment.  Spirit helps provide motivation and advancement of others as well as myself through the actions and events that exist within the community.  In addition, the desire to succeed and achieve the goals of the community stems from the community spirit that individuals have for their work environment or business group.  Community spirit is very important to me because it provides a situation where one can gain acceptance and play a role in helping others succeed.  While achieving personal success is an important goal for me, I also greatly wish to contribute to the advancement of others within my community to help ensure that community spirit is shared and spread throughout the industry.
