Health Care Regulation in America, Article Review Example

The article is focused on showing the importance of funding a health care program that enabled training of young doctors to work in underserved communities. According to the article, the Affordable Health Care Act offers funds that are necessary for training young doctors who offer medical help in underserved communities

Health care services should be affordable to every citizen in the country. It is important to note that the program offers the training of young doctors who work in underserved communities (Powers, 2014). Funding for such programs is important in maintaining a state where all citizens are offered health care attack. Personally, I think that it is important to fund such programs. This is because, the underserved communities in the country highly, benefit from such programs. In addition, the program acts as a way to attract and promote young doctors in the field (Field, 2007). Despite the fact that the program is very advantageous, politics seems to be hindering its program. I think that the act that supports the funding should be passed to help the program grow.

More importantly, I think that it is important for the Act to be made permanent instead of two years. One of the main reasons why I think it is important to make sure that the Act is made permanent is because the Act will guarantee that the health care is affordable to all citizens (Powers, 2014). In addition to this, the act will provide a safe zone for young doctors to join the training program without having to feel unsafe about their job. In addition, the act will help in making sure that underserved communities have access to better health care. Personally, I think that the Act in support of the program funding is important in maintaining a conducive health care environment throughout the country.
