Motivation, Admission Essay Example

All our life dependencies we rely upon important aspect and attributes that help us achieve and function within our limits, these urges and drives that are so strong that they inspire us with insight and focus on certain achievements are what life has fashioned as motivation. There is an old saying that says: “wherever there is a will, there bound to be a way.” In more lay man term the key aspect here is that motivation makes it happens.

This paper will expound deeply on my own thesis and own account of my motivation in my life as a college student whom my interests are in computer information and telecommunications systems.

In my studies motivation helps me achieve merits in areas of my course and also other indoors and outdoors activities. However through evaluation most of us are not entitled with the knowledge of where motivation arises from? What triggers it? And emotions that motivation harbors? We are so busy with our lives to notice the great effort and importance of motivation.

Motivation to me is the obtainable vigor that fuels us to pursue our goals and objectives in life. From life experience and reading manual I have gained knowledge of categorizing motivation in two form; internal and external. Internal motivation is doing something positive that makes me feel good and at peace with my self, there many reason that may harbor me to do this like the need to excel in my course of computer information and telecommunication systems for personal reasons, external motivation is the need for me to do something that I have to do in order achieve outside benefits like good grades in my class and getting awards from presentation of the project participation.

When I took up these studies I had mixed of internal and external motivation; this is analyzed as blended motivation. This is the horizon where both form of motivation works parallel, this is when external motivation energizes me in achieving my goals and been complimented with internal motivation in making my studies enjoyable and interesting. My external motives make me carve for a good job after college and this fuel me to graduate with top honors. My taking psychology class which is a fun subject develops me to be a good parent this is internal motivation.
