I strongly believe that I should be one of the candidates chosen to receive a scholarship to attend Winston Salem State University to pursue a graduate degree for several personal compelling reasons.

In a market that is highly competitive such as this one, I believe I have the requisite skills, dedication, experience and qualifications to be considered in a favorable light for this scholarship.

The reason for saying this is because I have successfully completed my bachelor’s degree as a Registered Nurse, and have worked in a nursing home taking care of numerous patients having various ailments, before gaining employment in the Neurosurgery Department at a local hospital, where my people skills, intuitiveness, competence, professionalism and integrity are without question among my peers and supervisor.

During the last three years I have done some serious introspections and personal need assessments regarding my career, and have come to the conclusion that in order to make the impact I would like to make and possible self actualized, I would definitely have to pursue a Nurse Practitioner graduate degree at one of the most accredited university in this region of the country.

In a purposeful manner I conducted a thorough research on all the available scholarships and course curriculums available in terms of institutions offering a graduate Nurse Practitioner degree, and have found Winston Salem State University to be the one that was offering me the best prospects of fulfilling my highest dreams and aspirations.

Should I my application be successful, I hope to make the best use of your teaching and research facility, so that on graduation I will be ideally positioned to market my skills and training in the best possible working environment and all relevant stakeholders to maximize their visions, missions, profitability and desired corporate image going forward.
