They tend to travel and visit the patients all around their communities to understand their well being and to learn how they are fairing with their health. By considering, this, they tend to develop a sustainable partnership with the patients.

Moreover, they also try as much as they can to put the patient in the context of his or her, family by the help of the other organs like the therapeutic alliance. They provide the check up for the pregnant women, young people and the elders. These routine check ups ensures that the family and community are fully involved.

Conclusion

Sometimes this type of work is always tiresome and stressful. They do not find it easy to deal with all patients coming from different background. More so traveling from one community to the other is not as easy as we would think. It needs heart and encouragement. Therefore, the psychologist needs to encourage the primary care psychology by training them on how to handle such patients. They should also be taught to work as a team. This will ensure that all the needs of the patients are considered and there will be no tiresome work.
