Self-Motivation, Application Essay Example

I am an environmental enthusiast who loves reading books and is thrilled by the American history. I love books because they are a good companion especially if they are science oriented as they give me the assurance that I will obtain a lot of knowledge when I am all done. I love American history because it makes me appreciate my heritage more.  I am a go getter who strives to work on something until I see the desirable outcome without which I know I will keep trying till something positive comes out of my efforts. I would also stop at nothing until I make myself happy and make sure the environment is safe. I am very predictable in the sense that my friends can read my emotions without me saying a word, and most of the time, they are correct. I am a leader who often brings order where it lacks and organization where it lacks as well if at all. I have great problem-solving and resolution skills and that is something my friends and instructors can attest to. Apart from the environment I believe I have a special calling to be a leader but the two can be merged so that I become an environmental leader. I believe in peace and respect for one another and that is why I often use carefully chosen words which are culturally sensitive in a bid to embrace diversity that nature provides us with on a daily basis.

I am here to make the world a better place by gaining that extra skill in environmental conservation. I am here because life is dynamic and takes different angles each day and season. With that in mind, I believe life brought me here for a purpose. I was meant to protect the environment. This started back when I was just walking and came across a bridge with something like a stone that seemed to connect three states harmoniously. Thus, I am here because the image of nature uniting the three states would not leave my mind till I do something that would as well unite the world and make it a harmonious place to exist. I see no better way than indulging in environmental conservation.

What is unique about me is how well I can communicate fluently with others with minimal misunderstandings. I also get along with others very easily, which has helped me adapt relatively faster to new environments so that I get enough time to concentrate on the sole purpose of my existence. Another thing that is unique about me is that failure does not pull me down an inch. This might sound strange, but it makes me appreciate myself more, mainly because I made a move, although with little success, but it makes me happy that someone somewhere did absolutely nothing. Failure to me is like a step up the ladder. I believe it is one of the reasons I made it this far because, for every failure I experienced, I knew I had to do it better the next time, and it worked. The other thing unique about me is that I reason with my emotions. Before I make a decision, I have to analyze the evidence-based possibilities. Even with this, I can only act on the decision after considering who will feel hurt offended by it. Concerning this, I listen to my instincts often.

What matters to me is the environment. Almost everything we get comes from the environment, and I would do what it takes to make sure the environment is clean at all times. I have been disturbed by climate change, and reversing its effects for sure starts with environmental conservation, which I really would like to get into.
