What do you hope to achieve academically and personally during this study abroad experience?

My personal understanding about the concepts that relate to business and its operations come from the ideas that I learn from my courses and from the experiences I get through actual application of what I learn. Relatively, I have realized that between these two aspects of learning and getting the best out of what I gain from the lessons presented in class, it is the actual experiences that stick the most into my being allowing me to grow better as an individual and as an enthusiast of business management.

With the chance given to me to learn about International Business through studying abroad, I do believe that I would be able to get the most viable experiences that I need to understand the concept of business management through a more direct approach. Such learning process shall give a better sense of understanding every single aspect of business operations that I need to know of as I see them happening right before my eyes. Business concepts never become effective unless they are actually seen in action. This thought has constantly been my basis for learning; I do believe that I would get the gist of my lessons better as I see them being applied in actual business cases and scenarios that I would encounter. France and UK are among the most prominent business destinations that I have always hoped to visit; tourism aside, I do think that these regions could provide me a better insight on what it means to manage a business within an international scale. Involving myself in situations that could hone my business management skills while learning both in France and UK would equip me with progressive condition of thinking which I strongly think could give me and my skills a boost towards individual and professional development. This course of learning is highly needed when I would embrace my position as manager later on as I graduate from my university course.
