The Reasons for Wanting to Attend MIT, Admission Essay Example

Since my childhood I remain interested all the time in Computer Science. In the start, the creation of games was the motive that forces me to this field. Afterward, I built up a real passion concerning to programming and I finally took decision what I intend in my life to do: explore about Artificial Intelligence (AI). I firmly believe at present the opportunities to research about Artificial Intelligence (AI) (my home country) are not too good. Obviously, I started to think about studying in this field into foreign country and concerning to this my parents decided to send me abroad. From this point I had collected data about Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and found that it is the best institute to study and become skillful and talented in the field of computer science, including Artificial Intelligence (AI). Since that time I had quite information and was aware about the university already. I found various information concerning to this in movies, books, articles, and even video games. Almost the article I read in famous magazines related to science referred to or credited the scientists of MIT. I also especially investigated and was surprised at the achievements awards that the graduates of MIT hold.

I tried in 2009 to take admission in MIT, but unfortunately cannot achieve the required number for admission. So in this regard, still I do not entirely put off my dream concerning to study in MIT. In contrast, I built up a greater concern for MIT. It is because I learned too much about computer science in the last 3 years. I also investigated about the student life at MIT and I found that it is very great. I explored bout the courses being offered by MIT and it makes me very happy with this fact that most of these courses are of my interest and I would love to learn more than 80% of these courses. My research reveals that professors of MIT are very caring for students. And in this regard number of students reported on blogs, websites, etc that their teachers teach carefully and with fun as well by maintaining great sense of humor. The institute admission scrutiny procedure shows that only extremely intelligent students are in MIT. So, I sincerely realize that I can gain from my fellows to the same extent that I would learn from my teachers.
