Known as the Bayerische Motoren Werke AG or the Bavarian Motor works, the German automobile manufacturing company was first noted for its production of motorcycle engine in 1916. After undergoing several points of twists and turns in its earlier years of establishment, the company experienced a bit of deep failure and high achievements through history. Considerably though, amidst all the different problems that the company has endured, it was able to distinctively create a recognizable reputation that makes it one of the pioneer organizations in the automobile industry to have introduced exceptional machines and engines that define modern automobile characteristics.
Starting off with Dixi, the first successfully released car by BMW the company now engages in the most complex and most accurate research dedicated to creating energy-efficient cars that are able to withstand energy scarcity that the world faces at present. Sustainable motor creation is then assumed to have a great impact on how BMW is trying to establish its new culture.
As mentioned earlier, the road to success by BMW did not take off easily. It had to endure particular sanctions especially related to financial failures in 1959. This situation almost cut off the company from the international circulation of automotive companies dedicated to innovation and development. However, with the help of sacrificing some of its stocks for quite some time and acquiring other organizations in the field later on, the company was able to stand up again.
In 2009, Chris Bangle, the company’s designer at the time was replaced by Adrian van Hooydonk who offered radical designs close enough to what his predecessor has done for the company. What was highly commendable about the way BMW operations is managed is that of the process by which the administrators are able to keep the best talents and the best skills for the organization. Getting the best designers and giving them the satisfaction that they need from the company as well as the chance to be creative and the assurance of being specifically celebrated for their work made it easier for BMW to keep their control of the market at the highest score. Considerably, keeping the right skills meant making sure that the people who are working for them also receive the satisfaction they need to remain in the company and provide the highest rate of service they could give to the organization. This means that the outcome of their works were extensively commendable; and through the years, the administrators were able to keep such a culture within the organization thus assuring the market they serve with the best kind of automobile choices they could get from the business.
This is the reason why during the year 2012 survey of Forbes magazine, BMW was noted to be the number one most reputable company in the world. This was based on the fact that many individuals who were surveyed trust their products and many among their workers feel the satisfaction they need from working in the organization. The consistency of the administrators’ application of the most important elements of the organization’s culture made It easier for the employees to retain their interest and desire to perform at their best rate to be able to make sure that they offer the market with nothing lesser than the highest quality they have promised to provide. Considerably, this concern on the part of the administrators keep their operations intact and their alliances close enough to define their path towards competing with other automotive organizations operating in the international market.
