The fight against drugs in Boston was so intense with various strategies put into implementation. • The other research strategies were too slow and would not avail the desired results in good time
• Focus groups were observed to be capable of providing researchers with insights and creative ideas
• It also ensured that moderators guided the entire discussion process
• In addition, it ensured face-to-face interaction with the prospects.

The focus group survey was successful and the following findings were made. Approximately 17 percent of youths falling in the (10-13) age bracket got attracted to advertising. The use of neighborhood programs also helped a great deal in preventing drug use. Celebrities were not seen as very reliable people to use in spreading the information regarding drug use risks. Families also had major influence on the attitudes of children regarding drug use. Parents were thus seen to play a major role in advising kids against drugs. With these measures in place, the fight against drugs in Boston was a success and greatly eliminated the greater part.

Apparently, the occurrence of community schools and programs dedicated to youths provide such option of finding the right people. Guiding the youths in doing the right thing is an important aspect of providing them better choices in life. Allowing them to gain better purpose in living shall provide a better sense of distinctively understanding what they could do better instead of simply taking drugs or distributing it among their peers.

Overall, it could be realized through this study that when it comes to fighting drugs and its impact among the youths and other members of the society, social cooperation is vital. Getting the attention of the authority is not enough. Working with the administrators through the programs they establish is a better sense of helping out curve the current path of youngsters as they choose to take drugs and be involved in other activities compelling such condition. Helping them get passed the confusing state of their youth could actually provide them with better options in life in the future.
