Evaluation for a Literacy Program for Disabled Adults, Grant Proposal Example

The literacy evaluation program tries to capture the events that have taken place and tries to improve, on different aspects, to facilitate succession in implementing of the program. From the objective stipulated in the program, it aims at educating the disabled adults in order to enlighten them and pass knowledge. From surveys conducted, it is evident that members of staff meet the objectives in an organized manner. In other words, the program is meeting client goals and has extended their boundaries to members of the community. This has given the neighborhood an opportunity to reach out and help the disabled adults through offering them resources like access to computers and multimedia equipment, graphic organizers and trained parent. This has facilitated on improving developmental measures, increased, and bridged the gap between these groups of people. Program developers will perform attitude surveys and case studies (quantitative and qualitative data collection methods) on the disabled adults, for their evaluation plans after every three months. Test scores submitted to adults as measures of evaluating the program. Additionally, interviews and surveys are instruments that will be applied for effective evaluation of the literacy program. The evaluation plan will be more effective if applied by comparing results with those of their trainers, Instructional Specialist, and members of the community. Project Coordinator will evaluate the effectiveness of the program with correspondence to data collected and instruments applied to provide an overview of the program’s effectiveness. The community will also perform tests on how the literacy program has benefited them, and this will act, as a procedure, to determine how the program is fairing. The final report compiled by the program manager and submitted to the State for approval, intended to be shared with both the local and government officials with the help of Educator conferences.
