Request for Masters Degree in Nutrition, Admission Essay Example

I am a graduate in sports and physical education, which I studied at the University of Romania. I believe that your university has the ideal culture and environment in which I can pursue my master degree in nutrition. My extensive course work in sports and physical education has made me to understand and appreciate the need to have a healthy life. My academic pursuits include majoring in nutrition along with acquiring knowledge about human health. My long-term life goal is to make the world positive about health and nutrition.

My previous work experience as a gym teacher and a personal trainer has provided me with strong base of how to motivate and guide people to be positive about health, this has enabled me to not only develop good skills of communication but also acquire excellent approach skills to my clients. Within the field of nutrition my interest is to major in food science and technology, my objective being to promote and maintain right nutritional practices, and to provide professional nutrition information and services to my clients. I believe furthering these issues not only benefits people who lack proper nutrition information but also the whole world at large since a world with  less diseases is a better world for each one of us (Peter, 108).

I also have passion in serving the community; I have participated in blood donations drive and also have been involved in campaigns for AIDs and health. I enjoy a lot and benefit when helping the community. Am also aiming at working to improve my leadership abilities which will enable me to be more effective in my campaigns and create positive health change in the society throughout my lifetime.

After completion of the master in nutrition program, I will look for opportunities in organizations such as World Health Organization with United States of America and afterwards work overseas. I am also looking forward to work with American Food Associate Organization. But basically I would like to work with society organizations more specific dealing with nutrition and health for the community, as that is the area that my profession will be most needed (Carson, 22). Though I have specific interest, I will be open to take any opportunities ranging from being self employed to teaching. During my free time, I will join volunteer organizations which offer free nutrition counseling and advice to the society.
